We understand that sometimes an order needs to be cancelled. Due to our efficient, automated fulfillment process, there is a very small window to successfully cancel an order before it is processed by the warehouse.
Order Cancellation Policy
An order can only be cancelled within 1 hour of placement. After this 60-minute window, the order is typically already sent to our warehouse for picking and packing and cannot be stopped.
How to Request a Cancellation
- Log into your Big Red Records account immediately after placing the order.
- Navigate to your Order History.
- If the "Cancel Order" button is visible next to your order details, click it. This confirms your order is still within the 1-hour window.
- If the button is not visible, the order has entered the fulfillment process.
If you miss the cancellation window, you will need to wait for the order to arrive and then initiate a return using our standard 30-day return policy. Please refer to the "What is Your Return Policy for Records and Equipment?" article for details on starting a return.
